    Empowering First Nations communities to design holistic, integrated and Indigenous-led responses
    and services from a position of cultural sensitivity and security is essential to reducing the
    disproportionate rates of violence experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. 
    The panel will discuss the need for First Nations-specific measures, including place-based responses, 
    the challenges posed by remote locations as well as what is required for family, 
    domestic and sexual violence services to meet the needs of First Nations clients.
